Exploiting Group Thinking in Organization-Oriented Programming

چکیده
Although MAS researchers have recently an increased interest in social agency, the explicit representation and exploitation of organizational aspects has not gained much attention. This paper, based on the organizational model proposed in [ ], investigates the organizational programming paradigm. The approach proposed in this paper, in contrast to other approaches, emphasizes on group thinking rather than on coordination. Doing so, specifications are at a conceptually high level of group-behaviour specification and interaction emerges as part of group thinking: There is no need for the specification of agents’ interaction protocols. 15 To show how the organization programming paradigm is applied, the paper describes the implementation of the asynchronous backtracking algorithm used in distributed CSPs.

Dwarf Frankenstein is still in your memory: tiny code reuse attacks
Code reuse attacks such as return oriented programming and jump oriented programming are the most popular exploitation methods among attackers. A large number of practical and non-practical defenses are proposed that differ in their overhead, the source code requirement, detection rate and implementation dependencies. However, a usual aspect among these methods is consideration of the common be...
متن کاملPortfolio Assessment and the Enhancement of Higher Order Thinking through Multiple Intelligence and Dialogic Feedback
The current emphasis on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) has inspired many EFL educators to explore the impact of merging different pedagogical teaching and assessment strategies on the enhancement of thinking skills. Responding to such a growing need to investigate the effect of diverse teaching strategies on HOTS, the present study aimed to explore the impact of the integration of portfoli...
متن کاملMultiple Intelligences, Dialogic-Based Portfolio Assessment, and the Enhancement of Higher Order Thinking
Abstract Controversy has not been yet resolved among L2 researchers as how to enhance higher-order thinking skills (HOTSs) in EFL contexts. Responding to the growing need to foster thinking skills, many L2 educators have recently attempted to investigate the effect of diverse teaching strategies on HOTS. Yet, few studies have focused on the infusion of Gardner’s (1999) theory of multiple intell...
متن کاملThe Impact of Multiple Intelligence-Oriented Writing Tasks on the Accuracy, Fluency, and Organization of ELT Students’ Writing
Correlational studies supporting the link between learners’ multiple intelligences and their learning are superseded by interventionist attempts to explore direct applications of Multiple Intelligence (MI) Theory in language teaching and learning. This quasi-experimental study examined the extent to which engaging ELT major university students in writing tasks, compatible to their dominant inte...
متن کاملThe Role of Critical Thinking Orientation on the Learners’ Use of Communicative Strategies
Abstract The present study aimed to explore the impact of teaching critical thinking skills through applying debate on the use of communicative strategies. At first 60 intermediate students were selected and placed in two homogenous groups of control and experimental through passing Nelson test. Then, a critical thinking appraisal was run to the two groups both before and after the treatment. T...
